And so, Pigs impressed me a lot. Perhaps, it's because Aesop always made sense when he used animals to teach noble things to men.
Here's another one:
In the farm of Tay Purit, animals were having some lazy discussions who was the greatest among them. The gullible ducks and proud chickens contributed their eggs; and the horny goats their milk.
On the other side, the dog was laughing upon hearing this because he knew that in spite of giving nothing to Tay Purit, he was well loved by everyone.
But, Tay Purit, the farm owner, knew which was the greatest among them: it's the pig. He knew that among these domesticated creatures, only the pig who gave everything of him. It offers no egg, nor milk, nor entertainment, but it offers itself to be slaughtered. When it gives, it gives its all.
Father,
You’re indeed a great God.
Thank You for the lessons in life.
In everything we do, we may give our all,
For everyone we love, we may offer our all,
For You, we may lift up everything,
In Jesus’ Name.
Amen.
